Allison Hanby is an associate attorney with Spinks Law Group. A Birmingham native, Allison is not only a skilled interpreter of the law but also well-versed in understanding how laws and policies are developed. This stems from her extensive experience in various governmental capacities, including working on gubernatorial campaigns and Capitol Hill. Her passion for understanding the legislative history of statutes and regulations gives Allison a unique ability to predict and understand outcomes on key interpersonal issues which benefit her clients.

Allison takes pride in her ability to explain the law and what can be expected from her clients. She understands that litigation is a worrisome prospect for most people, and being able to alleviate that worry is one of her favorite parts of being an attorney.

As an undergraduate at Ole Miss, Allison served in various student body positions, including as a Senator, President Pro Tempore, and Executive Liaison. She also engaged in numerous activities while a student at Cumberland School of Law, including the Cumberland National Trial Team, the Career Advisory Board, and the Trial Advocacy Board (Director of the Peterson National Trial Team Selection Competition).

On a personal note, Allison loves to travel to new places and is a bit of a foodie; she is constantly checking out the latest restaurants with friends and family.
